1953
  • Founded by Kiichi Yamamoto, 1st President
  • Weaved and supplied fabric for curtains and chairs for the Allied Occupation forces.
  • As a designated plant of Toyo Boseki Co., Ltd., fabric for drape curtains was sold in famous department stores and retail shops all over Japan.
1959 Won the Japan Interior Decoration Fabric Trade Organization Chairman’s Award three years consecutively.
1961 Won the Silver prize in the design competition of All Japan Silk Export Fabric Association.
1962 Won the Fukui Mayor’s Award at the Japan Interior Decoration Fabric Trade Organization Competition.
1963
  • Six buildings (Fabric plant, preparation plant, dying plant, warehouse, garage, and company dormitory) were newly built at the site.
  • Introduced machines including 30 Hokki-type 4-shuttle jacquard weaving machines, 2 warping machines, 65 winders, 20 Mutrata-type automatic pipe winders, jet-type skein automatic dying machines, etc.
1980 Delivered custom-made wall coverings to the banquet hall of Yours Hotel Fukui in Fukui Prefecture.
1981
  • Introduced 30 Hiraiwa rapier weaving machines.
  • Started sales of fabric using swatch books for curtains and wall coverings.
1985
  • From 1985 till around 2000, the company manufactured custom-made fabric as wall coverings for banquet halls of famous hotels.
  • The hotels were Ako Hotel in Hyogo Prefecture, Kyoto ANA Hotel, Tokyo Metropolitan Hotel, Kitashinagawa Mori Building Hotel, Chinzanso in Tokyo, and so on.
  • Delivered curtains for guest rooms of Hotel Okura.
1992 Takayoshi Yamamoto took up the post of President.
2000
  • Started weaving fabric for vehicle seats.
  • Introduced 4 high-speed electronic jacquard rapier weaving machines.
2005
  • Introduced 4 high-speed electronic jacquard rapier weaving machines.
  • The production volume of fabric for vehicle seats was 22,200 m/month.
2006
  • The 2nd weaving plant was built, the office building was renovated and the warehouse was expanded.
  • Introduced the monitoring system in the inspection room.
  • Introduced 4 high-speed electronic jacquard rapier weaving machines.
2007
  • Syuhei Toyoda, President of Toyota Boshoku Corporation visited the company.
  • Introduced 4 high-speed electronic jacquard rapier weaving machines.
  • Introduced the weaving machine monitoring system.
  • Acquired ISO9001 and 2000 certification for production and related operations of automobile interior decoration fabric.
2008
  • The production capacity of the plant was 120,000 m/month.
  • The actual production volume was 70,000 m/month.
  • Introduced 4 high-speed electronic jacquard rapier weaving machines.
2010
  • Introduced 4 high-speed electronic jacquard rapier weaving machines.
  • The new 2nd weaving plant was built.
2013 Introduced 4 high-speed electronic jacquard rapier weaving machines.
2014 Introduced 4 high-speed electronic jacquard rapier weaving machines.
2017 Selected as 2017 Strategic Fundamental Technology Advancement Supporting Industry (SAPOIN).
2018
  • Introduced one rapier weaving machine with 14336 Large jacquard dobby compound shedding machine.
  • Introduced 4 dobby air jet weaving machines.
  • Introduced one fully automatic short warper.
